Lauren Schulsohn
Comedian, Writer, Producer
In 2023, Lauren Schulsohn graduated from the University of Southern California where she majored in theater with an emphasis on comedy and has a double degree in international relations. She is the first ever comedic performance major to graduate from the University of Southern California, and commemorated her experience with an hour comedy special, "Obsession with the Absurd" which she produced, wrote, and performed.
Her main objective has always been to find the intersection between comedy and politics, especially international affairs. Being from New York City, Lauren has always seen the impact foreign affairs can have on domestic issues and even communities in her area. Lauren wants to combine her interests in comedy and international relations to create meaningful social and political commentary.
At USC, Lauren was a two-year elected President at Glimpse from the Globe, USC's leading international affairs publication, and was a season regular in USC Comedy Live, an SNL styled comedy show. Lauren was honored with the Renaissance Scholar award, celebrating her significant contributions to two disciplines at USC, entrepreneurial spirit and academic excellence.
She also gained valuable experience as an executive intern assistant at Kardashian Jenner Communications, and as a consultant for various film and television projects at Barry Katz Entertainment as an assistant. Currently, Lauren is a comedy touring assistant at United Talent Agency (UTA), where she supports routing tours, client relations, and live events management.
Lauren is always looking for new opportunities to learn from and collaborate with talented comedians, agents, and producers in the industry.
